i have this freaking sweet idea! okay first of all i have a 4dr valiant and i was thinking it would be really sweet if i could take the front bench seat and put it on tracks so it could slide forward and some type of hinges on it so you could slide it forward and put it straight down so its like a bed i think that would be an Awesome idea. does anybody know where i could get that done or something. i live in the Sacramento area

That was 'standard' equipment on the Nash Statesman I think... they touted it being a queen size mattress equivalent...

Now if you could do that with a 64-66 Barracuda or Space Duster... some tall people might be able to use it...

Hoping to get Lucky Department?...

I believe the AMC Ambassador had the flop down seat into the late sixties. Then custom van mania took over the world. Confused, ask an old guy.

That was an option for some of the 30's Nash's- you could fold out the back seat and use that + trunk area as a bed- helluva lot more room though than a valiant.
