I got my Bouchillion kick down in the mail a few weeks ago, and got around to mocking it up, does anyone have pictures of this setup with a super six? I can tell already that I'm going to have to modify the bracket quite a bit, but I'd like to see what other people did before I start hacking this thing up and wasting money.

dano,

I hate it when people ask for one thing and someone answers sumpin else, so now of course I fnd myself doing just that but I do so because my solution may have utility for you.

I really like the Bouchillon kickdown i used. However mine is on a 727 to a 4bbl Holley. Nevertheless my closeup pics of the brackets I made may give you an idea. My Holley is the 8007 and the cable is on the driver side of the block. If you want some pics email at rock at intrex dot net with your regular email address. I didn't use any Bouchillon brackets and made all mine out of 1/4 inch mild steel.

I just installed the throttle side of a Bouchillon kick down kit using their Multi-Fit Accelerator Cable Mounting Bracket. ( I'm waiting to pop in a new valve body before hooking up the KD cable) It is the best 29 bucks I have spent. I have a Holley 390 CFM (8007) on a Clifford Intake, the bracket mounted right up, and for the first time was able to correctly position the throttle cable since owning this car.

The bracket should work on any two barrel.
