I'm still running the stock 14" wheels on my Duster, and the cheapy tires on it are gonna need to be replaced this summer (I figure if I can make it look like I'm doing a burnout with a BBS 225, that's not a good sign for my traction).

IIRC, the stock gear ratio for the '74 Duster 225 was a 2.73 and the diameter of the stock sized tires is 25" (give or take a quarter inch or so). With the 3.55 gears in my axle now I came out with needing a 33" tire to get back to a stock gear to tire size ratio. Is this right? It was really just an "out of curiosity" thing since right now I'm planning on putting tires with a 26.5" diameter on the back, just to have something a little bigger than the stock size in the front.

25" * 3.55 / 2.73 = 32.5"
