Hey guys, I have a Industrial 30K genset with a 1975 225 (probably truck) engine. The previous owner changed the EI distributor over to the old points and condenser and hacked up the wiring doing so... Therefore I have decided to completely redo the ignition side of the electrical system. I am replacing distributor, coil, ballast resistor, plugs, and wires. I am ditching the P&C distributor and buying an EI distributor. Well, since this engine is not in a vehicle, there is no "wiring harness connector" as pictured in the EI wiring diagrams that I found on this site.. Could someone tell me what/where pins 1-5 are supposed to do/go? Also on the ignition switch since it is not a stock type switch I am using.. What are 11 & 12? I know one is start and the other run, but which is which?? Thank you!!
