Does anyone have the weight of the forged Wiseco pistons that are part of the K1/Wiseco package?

425g on my turbo pistons. really a stock replacement piston for the long rod. I would expect the kit pistons to be a little heavier due to a taller comp height.

The Keith Black KB239 hypereutectic pistons of roughly the same size are 376 gms with pins weighing an additional 107 gms.

These are not super light, but a lot lighter than stock.

428.7 g for bare piston
121.3 g for pin
2.5 g for pin clips
24.7 g for rings

642 g for rod w/bolts, no bearing shells
21 g for bearing shells (pr)

1216g total (+/- 1-2 g on whole mess)

200 g lighter than stock forged crank setup and 130 g lighter than cast crank setup.

Lou

I measured a 198 rod, stock piston, wrist pin, rings and bearing shells. The total was 1455 gms.

Thanks.

I measured the 225 setups, which is why I only got 1418 g for the forged crank bunch. 198 rods add 40 g, it seems.

To be clear the 1455 gms was everything associated with the cylinder. Pistons, all rings (worn), 198 rod, bearing cap, bolts, nuts and bearings.

None of the balance pads had any material taken from them.
