In the near future I will be replacing the rear springs on my newly acquired '76 Volare wagon. Do you make it your policy to replace all bushings and U-bolts when you complete a task like this, or do you replace only those with apparent deterioration? The car presently sits just a bit lower in the right rear and that is the reason for the spring replacement.

Generally agree with Ted. Bushings most important.

You may also want to check your shocks. If they are of the pressurized gas variety and the pressure seal fails on one, it will cause the car to sag a little. If you disconnect the lower shock mount with the car resting on its wheels or axles, and one just sits there while the other extends, there's your problem. The one that still has a charge will be more difficult to compress.
