if you havn't read this and are new to slant six's, this is an excellent resource for you. It has an easy to read break down of the slant six and how it is put together. Lots of info in one place.

Keep in mind though, nothing can replace the value of the factory mechanics manual.

Yep, the Slant Six Racing Manual. Its in the articals section of this site. Hard to believe there are people on Ebay trying to sell this, when its free from several sources online!

Ah, that's the old DC/MP "Slant Six racing manual". Certainly fun to read, but keep in mind the info isn't necessarily good just because it contains part numbers and talks about the slant-6 engine. This particular writeup contains numerous errors of fact, many P/Ns that cannot actually be had, and even those suggestions based in reality are variably outdated with regard to camshaft selection, etc. It seems to have been written with a substantial goal of marketing DC/MP's (now gone) line of slant-6 parts.

I have read and re-read that thing many times. It does contain some useful information though. There is alot of the same information in the Mopar Engines Manual, plus some thing not seen anywhere else.

I have even seen a similar Racing Manual for the Mopar Small Block advertized in the same way as the Slant 6 one. Does anyone know where the link is for the SB? I would appreciate it. :)
