How do I measure to see what size drums I have on my 1974 Dart Custom? I'm trying to figure out if I have tens in back. I plan on putting disc brakes on the front and the 10" rear, disc front combo I had on my 75 worked great.
If I have 9" rear drums, would you recommend replacing them with 10s?
Thanks
M

Remove one tire from the rear axle and see what MAX DIA. is cast into the drum. That will tell you your drum size.

Upgrading to larger brakes is always a good idea.

You can measure the inside diameter of the drum with a ruler or measuring tape.

Growing older is unavoidable but growing up is strictly optional.
