So, I woke up this morning and went down to my car only to find a crackhead sitting in my car. Long story short, the ignition has been punched and destroyed and the hazard switch is broken off and stuck in the on position. The car is a 1970 dart with a non-tilt power steering column (if that makes any difference). Does anyone have a part # for a replacement switch/lock cylinder? The whole thing is trashed. The outer ring is busted off, assorted metal pieces on the floor, the whole nine yards. I need to get this fixed asap as it's my daily driver. Also, if anyone has a PN# for the hazard switch, I guess I'll need one of those too.

Thanks in advance,

Nat

Wow, that sucks. Did you get in any good whacks at the would-be thief?

Ignition lock cylinder Standard/BlueStreak #US71L

Ignition switch Standard/BlueStreak #US88

Combination turn signal/hazard switch Shee-Mar SM-111, about $42 plus postage from Shee-Mar, whose website defines "suck". Call them up at 303-678-5334 and order directly.

Thanks SSD,

No whacks at the thief. It was a woman and that just ain't how I was brought up. The cops and I all had a good laugh because she claimed "she found it that way and was trying to fix it" How exactly she got into the underground parking lot is beyond me (needs an electronic key fob to open, so even if she'd got the car running, she'd have been stuck).

On another note, how do I get the horn button off the wheel so I can get in there with my puller?

Thanks again,

Nat
