I am on the east coast and I am looking for info on process and parts to soup up the slant six in a 1985 dodge d100. The truck is a low rider, bagged, etc. I originally was going to replace the six with a 360 (peer pressure). got an older 360, bought alot of parts for it, now I want to do up the six. I will sell the 360 parts and buy sixer parts but I'm not sure the 85 will adapt because of the 85 era air polution stuff. I am open for suggestions and advice. The truck has a 3 speed with OD stick which I would like to keep. Now, I do have some experience in this area, I had a nice 66 dodge d100 with a slant for which I bought headers, performance ignition and long block. Drove it for around for 2 years than we tried to occupy the same space as a very solid oak tree at 50 MPH and we lost that one. Thus the 85. It was a hit at Carlisle Pa. All truck Nats last year because there was (out of over 3000 trucks) not one more full size dodge that was bagged.
