I have a chance to buy some cool looking centerline 14" wheels that I'm going to slap on my '74 dart with front discs. The only thing I'm worried about is if 14" wheels will clear over factory discs (assuming the backspacing is set right to fit)..

Unless I'm mistaken, every '74 Dart had 14" wheels from the factory... Along with every other a-body from '70 forward.

All the ones I've seen and worked on had 14's. My '74 has front SBP discs and the aftermarket 14's fit fine.
