Im not sure where, but i heard that there is a slant 6 with a forged crank.
If so, what year? what car?
Sorry if this is like a common topic but i suck with the search button. Ive been trying to look up for stuff and cant find anything.

Every slant built before 1976 had a forged crank. Some '76 production was forged, some cast.

I have a '72 225.... So that means it has a pretty strong crank!!

Im looking into the turbo fields for my slant. Ive seen the turbo articles around the web for turbo slants. They dont do specifics on internals information.
Has someone here done any turbo slant? i wouldnt go any more than 7 psi.
How do i need to setup my internals for that? or a regular rebuilt should be ok... :?: :?:

And you don't have to spend a load of dough getting the crank lightened....and the thing revs up pretty quick too, because it doesn't have that extra 10-15 lbs of rotating mass to carry....

Heck just try turbo!
For 7 lbs I wouldn't get to worried about internals, camshaft will be of more concern. An intercooler isn't required for under 8lbs but would be nice. Frankly cast pistons should work, but I would try harder to locate 198 rods and hyper pistons. I really wish they had hyper pistons for someone like this, who doesn't quite need forged K1 set-up, but will need a little more rigidity.
The camshaft will be somewhere of concern, the closer you get to finished the build, the better we can answer the question. Engrbldr valves, home porting, and balancing. Custom headers are preferred for a turbo, but since your capping your boost at let's say sub 8, a simple extension on your exhaust will be fine. I would suggest tracking down a Grand National turbo.

I already got a turbo. We do the castings for Comp turbos, so he gave me one for free. It is suppose to start boost @ around 3200.
My questions is if someone has done the turbo, how do they work the 1:1 fuel pressure in respect of boost?
I already installed and intercooler, and as you said. I ran a downpipe from the stock exhaust manifold.

You'll want a turbo sized to make boost a lot sooner than 3200 if the engine is otherwise stock. The stock cam and head typically limit a 225 to about 4500 RPM. You need to have some boost around 1500-1800 RPM and quite a bit of boost by 2500 or so. You can use a larger turbo that comes in later if you use a high stall torque converter, but with the stock cam and head you're still going to be shifting around 4500 RPM.

Most turbo installs are going to electric pumps with bypass-type regulators that are referenced to the carb inlet.
