No strap kits in stock, I got a whole new u-joint. I am going to use the strap kit that was on the original Mopar U-Joint. I didn't look to closely at the caps on the rear u-joint because I have never heard of something like this happening. I thought the rear axle yoke held those things on securely?

You must put the C-clips on all the U-joint caps otherwise you can toss the cap. Some rear end yokes have tabs that keep the caps in place, but not ones that Chrysler used.
