Well, it's official. We're the proud new owners of a fine 63 Valiant. Just got back from a 2300 mile journey and the little slant never broke a sweat.

Great car! Great story! All the years I drove my '65 Dart i didn't know the correct term for the vents was "crotch coolers". I thought they were beer coolers. You,ve made me weiser. :D

Been gathering parts, saving money, etc... Car goes in for paint toward the end of the month. Going with a close to a aqua marina blue on the bottom with a silver flaked roof. Going for a mild 60's custom feel. Here's a photshop rendering of what we think the car will look like. I'll post up some more when she's all done. :)

haha, mine don't sit quite that low but's it been lowered considerably. ~3-4" all the way around.
