I need a good engine rebuild manual for a slant 6. If anyone could suggest one or more I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

A factory shop manual is great to have. Here are 3 leads for finding one. You can do a search on Google for "automotive shop manuals" to find other venders, but these 3 are a start. Get the one that covers your specific year and model.

2 other great books:

Step-By-Step Guide to Engine Maintenance/Repair:The Chrysler Family"
By Herschel & Ray Whittington
TAB BooksISBN#0-8306-5848-3

this book is out of print, but I found one here:

this is a site that sells used books. I had to check back several times before a copy finally showed up...this was probably not a real big printing and it has been out of print for some time. But there ARE copies floating around out there if you are persistent in your search.

Another great book which is still in print can be seen here:

The Mopar Engines Manual, available at most dealerships is also a good source of information. I'd check to make sure that it still contains a slant 6 section before I order it, though. My older edition does. I've also seen another, smaller version of this which covers Mopar V-6 and slant 6 only.

Hope this helps.
