We need to decide on a venue for the meet. If everyone interested could speak up ASAP we'll get this nailed down.

I know there are lots of folks in Seattle and the surrounding environs, but I gotta say that driving south for me is MUCH easier than driving north. So I voted for Olympia. Sorry....

Ya know, Olympia is kind of an intresting location and only what, an hour or so from Seattle? Why not!

Crap! What about a highway rest-stop in between Tacoma and Seattle? Plenty of parking, bathrooms, some picnic tables, and people expect to see lots of cars there stopping for long periods of time so I don't think we would get busted for loitering. I know there is one off of I-5 in Fife. At milepost 140, 7.2 miles north of Tacoma accessible via I-5 noth. It has picnic areas, vending machines, men's and women's restrooms, drinkning water, telephones, and it is ADA accessible. What do folks think?

I'm up for either. I'll be on my way from Bremerton, back down to central Oregon. Reed, I love the rest stop idea!

Grandpa's life is hanging by its last few threads. Straying far from Seattle is probably not in the cards for me.

Highway rest stop...? Um...no thanks, I'd like to think we can do better than that.
