Anyone know where I can get a new J-bolt? I have a new tank, strap and sending unit coming from RockAuto but they don't list the hanger bolt. I guess I could just bend over a long bolt, but would like the correct deal if its easy. I am pretty sure the bolt is Barracuda specific.

My bet is the Paddock or Year One would have such a thing. I would think it is universal for all 67-69 A bodies at least. These days I always check ebay for those things too, if not available through normal sources.

It turns out that the J-bolt IS Barracuda specific. The Barracuda bolt looks more like a ? mark and not a J

I had a situation where I needed a tank bolt to fit around the duel exhaust tail pipe on the right side. I just purchased a normal "J" bolt, put the flame wrench to it, and made a few bends so it would fit between the tank & tail pipe. For you non 67' tank owners out there, this is a one year only, one strap set-up mounted left to right, unlike the 68 & 69 double strap configuration.
