Are these large "O" rings available for my 8 3/4" axel? These rings look a little flat, although they still seal, they are getting old.

I don't know for sure, but my guess is they are ordinary round-section O-rings, and the flat appearance comes from their having taken a set (cooking in one compressed position for a long time). Should be able to replace with ordinary open-stock O-rings. If can't find locally, get thru www.smallparts.com . Pick your rubber compound carefully. Viton or Buna-N or Neoprene should be good picks; silicone would not be wise.
