Why doesn't anyone start making adapter plates to swap a rotary engine into my dart? Much easier to design than an aluminum head.
Just a thought.

Might as well swap in the Mazda trans with the rotary. The only problem I see is fitting it in the stock A-body trans tunnel. Rotary cars have a large trans tunnel. The exhaust goes down the wrong side of the car for an early A-body too.

So you're saying it's possible??? Do you know anyone who can design and build this for me? Maybe I can take it racing? How much horsepower do you think I'll get?

I sincerely hope that was completely sarcastic, but since we don't have a sarcasm font I'm not sure. :?

Well lets take that rotary engine & trans and I got this old Mazda shell out back - it just might fit . . . no problem with the exhaust either. I belief it bolts right in.
