I'm looking for a decent, but not top of the line chrome valve cover for my 225. Any suggestions?

good chrome valve covers are hard to come by. if you must have chrome your best bet would be to find a factory cover in good shape and have it dipped. the covers you see on ebay are no good very poor quality. also a nicely painted valve cover and air cleaner looks just as good if not better than chrome. and if your removing your valve cover to do a valve lash you might as well paint it up.

Or you can buy the cheap Chinese one off eBay for$30. I have been running mine a couple of years now....

Click on the link below my name. Then click on one of the pictures. It will enlarge and still run in slide show mode.

Another option is to get an Offenhauser valve cover. I'm not sure how much they go for now, but I would guess a little over a hundred bucks.

Or you could just polish a factory stamped steel one.

If you can wait a few weeks I'll give you an ebay special. You just cover shipping. I have 2 weeks left here in hot sunny Kuwait. I need to sand the Eastwood engine paint off my Offy cover and repaint it the correct Chrysler blue when I get back. The Eastwood paint came out looking like they had mixed Chrysler blue and turqoius. They refunded my money but I'm out all the masking/sanding time. Let me know if you want it.
