Okay guys here are some pictures of the new one piece mount.

tapered end for easier installation.

I originally installed the mount in my 75 dart with an all original motor and original mounts. The new mount made the motor very firm in the motor bay. Took the dart for a 250 mile drive and the change was not harsh but rather nice took a lot of vibration out of the steering wheel and made for a little nicer feel in the seat at idle.

This past weekend I installed the mount into my dads mild torque built motor with mild shift kit and it really helped with off the line power transfer. Shifting is felt more into the car and I kinda like the snappy feel.

I'm really happy with the mounts and plan on ordering a few more sets for my other cars. For future use. A great thanks to everyone involved in this process.

Any word on the 63-66 mounts yet? I just replaced the engine in my sons '64 valiant and those stock rubber mounts suck! the engine just wallows around in the engine bay when you rev it.

Go to www.polybushings.com and contact Johnny with your needs.

I have Dan's 60-61 mounts so we can make a set of mounts for the 62-66 cars that doesn't wear out. My priorities got shifted a bit for me today, but I hope to be back on it next week.

The one piece is a much cooler looking unit (and I'd imagine more solid functioning piece since it isn't two halves pushing together).
I'd like to get one, however I don't want my car to be harsh, I drive it way too much/too far.
From what I've been hearing it sounds like I want something between the factory pieces and these pieces.
I'll have to see if he can get a more comfortable (softer durometer) material.

What about the bushing(s) on the other motor mount(s)?

When I get closer on assembling my Dart motor I will get a set of the poly's. He needs to advertise these in the new parts section on Moparts when he has changed his website. Probably something on FABO, and Moparchat too.

Very cool, I like the price! Time for a group buy?

I hope this does good for them. I hop he promotes it in the new stuff on Moparts. It is a seperate section.

Believe it or not, I think slants are coming into there heyday! They can promote this on Moparchat, FABO, etc.

Ceej, are you working with Johnny on the 62-66 mounts? I would VERY much like to get this going, and want to help any way I can. If we need to get a list of people who will commit to buying them, maybe we can move this forward and finally get a good set. I know I'd buy some (I have 3 sets of rubber ones right now) and that there are several others with lots of early cars that would like em! Lou, Doc, Dan, Greg to name a few. I know there are many others.

Speak to me Ceej!

MJ

I will start a new posting about it. These mounts will not be as inexpensive as the 73 spools, since they require metal to be bonded directly to it.

I have been talking with Johnny and he indicated that he would make them if I can get 15 confirmed orders. He estimated a price of $99, with each person needing to put a $20 deposit forward before he manufactures them.

I recognize that the price is much more than the chinese ones now available, but these will be so far superior that you'll never need another set and will not be plagued by the problems of the squishy mounts currently in most of our cars. You also won't have to resort to a solid mount like some of the racers have done, which causes other problems as well.

Like I said, I will be putting a list together of interested folks. If you are still in, send me a PM with your handle here, real name, email and phone and we'll get this rolling

MJ

I assume since these are '62-'66 mounts they won't work on a '60 (sandwich type)? :(
