Well, shee-yoot.

The Auto Line reman carb on my '64 looks nice, but doesn't run well enough for me to want to keep it on there, despite checks and adjustments. It can probably be refurbished to work well, but outta the Auto Line box it doesn't meet my requirements.

Dan,

My same concerns as well especially old bodies, they simply wear out no matter what even they still have issues even shaft bushings is taken care of
plus bodies do distort with age, crack, and do odd things.

I had this very frequently with my old carbs so dumped them for low miles weber.

Gonna keep a look out for these kind of issues.
