found someone with a later model disc brake a body parts car, looked on here and found someone else making a shopping list a while back for a 66, wanted to make sure it was the same for my 67
looks like i need:
uca's
prop valve
and everything from the spindle to the lugs

is that it? (besides new bushings, pads, maybe rotors, and lines)
thanks

You didn't mention it, but I'm sure you know that you'll need new wheels. It would be good to grab the rearend too to get the large bolt pattern there as well.

i wasnt sure if they were bbp or not, still waiting to here back from him, i was thinking that the only way to retain sbp (which only matters to me as far as wheels) was to use stock disc setup. he has wheels that were on the same (15' centerline style) for a reasonable price and i asked about the rear end, waiting to hear back on that from him along with a price on the brake stuff, thanks for the help!

Don't forget the disc type master cylinder. Although you can make a drum type work, the disc cylinder has a larger reservoir for the front.

What year model is the parts car? If it's 73 or later it will be BBP, if earlier it will be the SBP Kelsey Hayes setup. If it's the earlier, SBP type then I don't believe you need the control arms. Just the spindles and everything out to the hubs and rotors. Of course, you'll still need the prop valve and master cylinder.

I did the BBP disc swap on my 67 Dart last year. Using the 73 and up parts is the cheapest way to go. Look around for a BBP rear. You will most likely find one for free. One of the best upgrades you can do.

The SBP K-H discs need the larger lower ball joint. That's also one of the main safety advantages, aside from the disc brake performance improvement. The lower ball joints take a larger mounting bolt.
