Soon (very soon I hope). I'll be preping the engine to drop in the engine compartment (77 supersix 833OD into a 66 Dart SW).

I've bought the old style oil pan and pickup, new water pump, fuel pump, gasket set for the oil pan, timing cover, valve cover, and of course engine paint (Chrysler Hemi orange and black).

My question is the dutra dual switch.

I can't decide if I want to plan on doing it while I have the engine out and jury rig an exhaust to get to the shop and have it done right, or just leave it stock and drive it for a while and then swap it out.

Mentally master__________ here I guess.

If you go Dual Dutra's remember you need the mini starter and some grinding. PM CJ for details. I would make the switch wile you have the engine out.

If you go to the "Dutra Dual" page, it shows where you need to grind. This is necessary if you want "Dual Dutra Dual" manifolds, versus a Dutra front manifold, and a modified factory manifold for the rear.
I think doing this while the engine is out of the car is a good idea for convenience sake, but you can do it later, it's up to you.

If your engine is not that built up, then I'd just put the stock stuff back on and take your time to get it done right later, after you have shaken down the engine and broken it in.
