Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anybody would be willing to buy me a 9/16 - 20tpi brake line nut and post it to the UK (I'll obviously pay, Paypal is nice and easy for me)?
I am replacing a master cylinder and the new cylinder is an odd sized thread, which is proving impossible to get in the UK. It is also difficult for me to find somone in the US willing to deal with somone in the UK on this part.

It's really frustrating, it's somthing like a $3 part and it's a real nightmare to get!

Thanks guys,
60 Ply

What size brake line, 3/16ths? I could get one on Monday and post it. PM me your address.

Hi Guys,

Yup, 3/16 brake line with 9/16 by 20tpi was a chrysler only (limited years too I think) fitting, and generally unknown outside most of the world. It's a real git to get hold of. For the future interest of anyone who reads this thread, if the ordinary 9/16 nut don't fit, it's probably because Chrysler could really do with a slap occasionally and they didn't use the standard 18tpi thread pitch like everyone else.

Cheers guys,
60 Ply

I just got one of these about a month ago, from my NAPA store. Originally they said they didn't have it, but one of the counter guys looked through a box of fittings and adapters, and found them. Let me know if you want me to pick one up, for you.
