They still have 'em priced as though they're sniffing really strong glue?

Dan,

It was pricey, but isn't it rare enough to justify? I'm way too far away and still do not have a right car for a /6, but if I were there, would get it. And it is new, isn't it?

$1750 for the bare block... I don't think so!

No. Not even now they've halved the asking price from $3500 to "only" $1750.

Seriously: Y'gonna buy a $2K engine block, spend another $2K (easily) building it up…and then actually drive the car?

yes, I would. Man this world is really weird. I got so used to see how difficults things are for us here, that I started daydreaming about it, but honestely I think I'd face it. Check out he links below, one dyno engine shrot block for 175 and the aluminum block for 1750. But honestely, I uess they should take offers in both.

Well, it's not for me to decide how anyone else gets to spend his money — if you were closer to it and wanted to do it, I'm sure you'd get all the support you need from this board. :-)

The block is NOS?

Dyno engine? 4 litle is how much in 225? I thought it was a 3.7.

"4.0" is not correct — the engines are 225s (3.682 L)

Yeah, I saw that too. Looking at the pictures though, they do look like slant 6 engines, not Jeep engines. Still, you'd think they would be more careful with the description.
