I have read the 4 speed article and have some questions.

What I have:
67 Dart 225/904

Early cast iron bellhousing with clutch fork/boot
early flywheel
TOB
Pedals from 76 valiant with 4 speed od.
Linkage/torque shaft from 1976 valiant
4 speed floor hump

I need to know if the '76 torque shaft and linkage is going to work with the early bell/ballstud and clutch fork?

What other parts will interchange? I still need an inspection cover, bellhousing ball stud, frame ball stud bracket.

Thank you.

I have a 1973 set of pedals in my '67, a 1974 3 spd bell, and linkage/Z-bar from a 1976... 73-76 ballstud...

As long as you use "like" systems you won't have a problem...the '67-72 bellhousing is fine, the 1970's Z-bar is fine, but the fender ballstud is different from 67-72 than the 73+ to align with the earlier bellhousing...
That can be had at Brewers, or Passon's I think....

good luck on your conversion.

Mopar was selling a ballstud kit at one time. Had the bushings and seals along with the bell and frame studs. Was a nice setup but not sure if it's still available. I used it when converting my '70 over to an 833 trans. The biggest challenge I had was finding the proper length z-bar as they are different depending on engine (slant/sb/bb.) That and I seem to recall having to do a little cutting/welding on the bellhousing stud to align it to the frame.

The one that works...

Next one I do will be one of the group buy clutches that was on the board, currently both cars have a Zoom 9 1/4" clutch and they do OK(not to pleased with their throwout bearings...), the 10" tends to not be too durable, and the 9 1/4" so far will skip or not engage if it can't handle the torque...which is better than engaging hard then failing in an explosive type manner...

Those Z-bar rebuild kits can also be had at Brewer's or Passon's.

I have heard things about a spec 9.5" clutch that should hold up to 400 ft/lbs of tq. Know anything about it?
