I got a 67 Dart and I lowered it 2" by flipping the rear spring mounts and cranking down the front torsion bars.. I want to go lower but it already hits the front bump stops on hard bumps.. Do they make lowered spindles for the front and where can i get them? I like my cars low

Magnumforce(.com?) has just started making drop spindles for Mopar A (B, E) bodies, 2" I think. I don't know anyone who has tried them yet. About $400/set.

Fat Man Fab has had them for years and years... guys use the transverse torsion bar sub frame from the Aspen/Volare under their hot rods...

I have a MF dropped knuckle here in the shop. Moving the spindle up that far causes some issues that is for sure. So if you go that way be prepared for some issues.

Well the dropped spindles are machined a little different than the stock ones so your brakes may or may not fit.

Also, when you move the spindle up that far the lip of the wheel might interfere with the tie rod.

hmm- seems that wheel clearance issues could easily be resolved with good measuring for diameter and back spacing..

however, i was thinking that an issue could arise because the upper ball joint may experience abnormally high loads.
plus caster adjustments would actually move the spindle fore and aft in addition to the knuckle's rotation as viewed from the side...

You are correct it will move the spindle fore/aft, but it will not be a large amount. Without measurements, I'd say 1/4" either way max.
