I used the search function and didn't find these gaskets discussed on here. I apologize if I missed a post about them.

I've got a leak on one of my Valiants and need new gaskets. With shipping these are cheaper than the remflex gaskets that I saw in another post.

I've used them with success with my headers. The felpro's are scalloped across the top and would never seal with the headers. I used the big port gasket they advertised but it's the same material.

have not tried those gaskets but i had huge issues with exhaust leakes especially with my headers. they were warped and i had local machine shop plane them, but still what i found that works great is go to local parts store and get 3 intake/exhaust gasket kits and take some type of engine rtv(silicone) and rtv the gaskets to each other and clamp them in something while the rtv drys. this make a super thick gasket. i have even used cliffords special gasket which is like 3/8" thick and made of some special stuff and still had a leak.

Yes, I have used the Aussie gaskets. My situation wasn't so good, I had a leaky stud and the hot water escaping from the stud eroded the gasket and caused it to de-laminate over time. It was quite a mess and created a huge vacuum leak. The Remflex is much more forgiving and better at sealing the stock intake and exhaust manifolds.

That is a good point when running headers.

Yes, it ate right through the carbon fiber like a water jet.
It de-laminated down to the metal core and blew out a big chunk.

I saw the thread about the hot box gasket, and missed the info on the big gasket. I see that they have a "combo pack" with both. That's what I'll get. I'm running everything stock, so it sounds like they should work great.

It seems that HP are simply re-selling GPRS gaskets.
I know they have to make a profit,but if you look at the comparitive prices,you can buy 2 gaskets from GPRS for only $3 more than 1 from the HP lot.
They have a reputation in Oz for knowing how to charge. They do have a lot of good stuff no-one else has though.

Yep you are right. GPRS doesn't take Visa. Money orders are a problem as by the time they do the fluctuating money game, and pay the bank their cut for the exchange? They lose.

The GPRS guys were offering one heck of a good deal. They were going to send the hot box gaskets and head pipe gasket..

Are these gaskets reusable?

I have a brand new set (exhaust & Hot Box) from GPRS that I bought in May '09 when I was going to put a Super Six set up on my /6. I have since decided to put in a V8. This gasket combo set has never been opened and I would sell it to you for $30 with shipping. It cost me $37. I would take a USPS money order. If interested let me know. I have a complete super six set up, 3 carbs, shorty throttle cable, kickdown linkage, all for sale too.

Hey Guys Yup Bill From HP in OZ has asked us to start selling our gaskets so we've limited him down with just what he can sell eg the combos etc.. We've been selling these ourselves for 3.5yrs now & with a guy like bill offering to buy masses in bulk when ya own the tooling rights you go.. um okay.. & go from there..

Ted I am genuinely sorry to hear that the water blew it apart mate but yeah these wont take water for long as that not the material for that job.. I just hope that we can help you again down the track..

Guys as for the Visa situation it should be resolved shortly we've had a few problems down this way with a family member getting struck down with cancer so everything got put on a temporary hold for the past 5mths
But with a light at the end of the tunnel (hopefully) things will be back on track I've found a merchant that doesn't want to rip me off re fees etc so we will be also updating the entire sites checkout / online shop as it's never been a great thing but more a "we've put up with it kinda deal"...

We've also updated the Slanty combo which now includes a exhaust manifold to exhaust pipe flange gasket as with anyone needing the hotbox gasket will also need this recently made for us gasket..

Guys were always available for any complaints or suggestions let us know I've already had a few guys ask for thicker gaskets & thus far our manufacturer is hesitant as all their test materials keep disintegrating due to the high graphite content needed to make them "softer & thicker" so we've also got him looking for an material that will make these better than they are currently etc..

We've also just released a slanty head gasket now available too..
