Just got home from T-N-T and the car ran a 8.622 (1/8th). The track had zero traction and my car spun badly each pass. Also it is extremely hot and humid tonight so that also affected the performance. Another thing is the car never got over 190 degrees so I think the car could use a little more timing.

Sounds like good progress. Beware of more timing on a 225. Usually it means less power...

I am sure that I left 2 tenths on the line it was spinning so bad, then it was humid as heck. The air was really bad, so that is between a tenth to two tenths there as well.

We are going back to T-N-T with the timing light and adjust the timing slightly and see if it the car speeds up or slows down by increasing it. I only have 30 degrees timing in the car now, I figure it will need about 34 degrees.

Yep, you're not too far off.

My 2 bits says 34 deg slows you down at least 0.2 sec. In fact, I would guess with your engine that 26-29 deg is the right range.
