so i got my engine put together and i lined the timing marks up dot to dot (which will be degreed later this month)and i'm a TDC #6 would that create a problem. i tried to get it at TDC #1 but it wouldn't line up. yall know what to do?

Ok; Each piston rises to the top twice in the cycle, you are 180 degrees off,
bring your #1 back to top dead center(your rotor should now be pointing to#6) remove and replace your distributor so rotor now points to #1.

do'nt panic. it is right. when the timing marks on the cam and crank sprockets are lined up, #6 is at TDC. see this post
