Hello, new to this forum and Mopars. I purchased a 1949 Dodge truck that had the flat head 6 replaced with a slant 6. I need to relocate the alternator to the drivers side and I am not sure what year and what models had slant 6's alternator on the drivers side and where I could obtain the alterrnator bracket. Any help is appreciated.

A100/A108 vans and A100 pickups have driver's side alternator mounts.

I'm fairly sure that it's all years of A vans and pickups so maybe 64 to 70?
Run an ad here in 'Parts wanted' section for the bracket,it's going to be a used part only not a dealer part.

You can also get a driver-side mount kit for a GM (Delco) alternator from AREngineering.
