My old rotors were warped and too thin to machine, so I went looking for new rotors. None of the local parts stores lists them as it's a discontinued item, so I had to order these ones:

Centric's I believe, are they any good?

My local store had them 2 years ago for $26 each. I can check if you like. They are only ok. They have a little warpage. I have not been able to find a rotor in the past year at the local stores that wasn't mfg in china. Pads were still USA.

They're on the way, possibly next week sometime... Until then, the beast is out of commission.

Got the rotors via UPS the other day... Whatever brokerage fees are, it's a scam

anyways, the rotors seem to be of decent to good quality. A real pain in the ass to remove the old rotors from the hubs and re-install the wheel studs, but a couple hours later and I'm finished the install.

Haven't test driven the car yet, but will update after some spirited braking and water sessions, to see if they warp easily.

Jester were these stamped as to country of origin? I was told a year ago that they were made in Canada.

Not sure, but the caliper is thumping against the hub when I corner, so I'll have a look today when trying to fix that :(

Couldn't find a stamping on the actual rotors, but they were purchased from R1 Concepts and said "replaces Centric xxx.xx".

I pulled the R1 Concept sticker off and the box is stamped "Made in China" :(

I got some from Autozone that were cheap; made in China. They look cheap.

:D ah well, at least they're still making them for us. Now try finding a KH hub :|

I'll give a rotor update in the next few month to see if they warp. Next brake job, I'm going with '73+ setup, even if the braking isn't as good, at least those parts are readily available at my local parts store.
