Looks like a 268° duration hydraulic lifter cam that hasn't been offered in years. Got the cam card or lift, duration and centerline info? Do you want to convert to hydraulic lifters and valve gear?

The post on CL says he bought it brand new 25 years ago and never used it. No I'm not interested in converting to hydraulic valve train.

Thanks

Hmmm. How much does he want for it? I will be using a hydraulic valve train in my brother's Duster. It will be a street car, not a racer, but I wonder if this cam would be a good one for it?

Reed,

It should be a good cam with about 9.5:1 compression and good intake and exhaust systems. You still have that big valve head right?

Yep, still have the big valve head, but it looks like the ad has been deleted. I will assume it is sold. :x That's okay. I am going to try and get a stock hydraulic cam reground to a different profile.

Oh! He reposted it with pictures:

http://utica.craigslist.org/pts/1411150894.html

"dodge chrysler plymouth slant 6 competition cams 268h stage 1 for use with stock solid lifters this is a mild street cam to give your slant 6 a few extra horses it will fit all slant 6 engines from the 60's to the 80's it is brand new purchases for a project 20 years ago that was never finished tis is rare as they are not available new anymore it is still in the original package dnto303@yahoo.com "

I am too cheap to pony up $75 plus shipping for a cam when I can get the stock cam reground for $35 here in town.
