I am installing a carter p4070 electric fuel pump in my '73 dart w/ slant six..I am new at this.can anybody help w/ wiring?? also, I have heard I need a regulator..others say no...help appreciated..thanks

Hi there. The P4070's output pressure is a little on the high side for a slant-6, so you'd want to run a regulator, but before we get to that point…why installing an electric fuel pump at all? Are you effectively forced into doing so by a worn-out camshaft eccentric? If not, electric pumps on non-race carbureted vehicles tend to cause more problems than they solve.
