Anyone got any info on it? It has turned up possibly for sale and someone on Yellowbullet is looking for any history he can find.

Appears as though it was a record holding AHRA Stocker at one time.

'Zilla,

I took a couple of picture of that car about 4 years ago when Buddy was racing at Houston during the Texas Mopar ShootOut. It was a 170 (177 cu in) marked on the front fender.

I can post it if you need it. He and Mike Jefferys were the only people with Slants there.

I think I was there for that. Orange Duster, right? Is that car is famous?

Bob, I think I was there that same year with my son Aaron and his '74 Dart Sport. We met you and your son there while we were checking out Mike's Valiant. Was that the orange Duster that had a really bad paint job?

Thanks for the pic!

I'm not sure if the guy bought the car or not. The thread just kind of died.

I see the Texas flag Papa, where exactly "er ya frum podnuh"??

Did Buddy build a new car or did he call it a career?

Last time I spoke with Buddy, he had another car he was working on.
He sure was a lot of fun to talk to!!

:( That just caps a lousy week for sure: I didn't knoiw we'd lost Buddy. This on top of my friends losing their 2 year old, and Cinda's mom passes.
The track won't be quite as much fun without having to try and run Buddy down in the traps.

Papa, where are you located, and what would be your "home" track?

We have a local track here in Abilene. This is my first car. That is also part of the reason I want to keep its history alive. I have heard alot about Buddy Borg and would like to learn as much as possible about his racing. Also if anyone has any picture out there please send them my way.
