hello, can someone tell me where the date of engine stamping is located on the block on the /6 please ? Thank you, Brian.

are you saying on the cyl. head itself? I need to know the date of the block, I have replaced the head with a different onein the past.

No, it's on the block itself, on the top surface of the block deck, usually directly below the frontmost spark plug. If you have a late-production block it may be below the rearmost spark plug. If you have a 1960 block, it may be on the rear or top of the water pump scroll area.
