I thought I read that Offy intake cannot be used with stock manifold, or was it Clifford?

I like the Offy better, can it be used with stock manifold? I thought there was something about heat under intake that caused problems>?

I could not find it with search, but I may have overlooked.

No Clifford intake can be used with the stock exhaust manifold. The Offy intake can.

I'm currently running an Offy with a single pipe stock exhaust to a 2 1/4" pipe (no cat, turbo muffler)...

The only draw back to the offy is the plate they give you only allows the carb to mount primaries to the front of the car...which is great for stock linkage... but might be so optimum for fuel spread.
