thanks doc for your good info.

I placed the manifold on my bench and tried to locate the gasket to match the ports.

The way the manifold is warped, there is no possible way to line up the ports with the gasket, not even taking the end mounting holes into consideration. It looks like the back half is warped so that the ports are actually lower than those on the front. Also the ports wont line up from side to side, no matter how the end holes line up.

It is weird because when you place the manifold on glass, it sits nice and flush with the glass but If the ports dont clear the gasket then I am sure that gas flow will be all messed up.

I am assuming that I am toast and that I have to find another manifold now.

Any comments?
