I am in the middle of my super six conversion and found that my exh manifold is way warped. I have set out finding a new one and one option that has come my way is a brand new mopar performance 6 into 1 header.

I figure getting this part will at least allow me to avoid the possibility of buying yet another and another warped manifold.

I know the basic hassles with headers but want to get some specific feedback from experienced listers about using the mopar perf header.

I know I am going to want to get the thicker gasket for it, and the exhaust from flange back is a no brainer.

I guess I am wondering about things such as clearance (will I have to do any "custom" work to get it to fit, and kickdown and throttle cable linkages (in stock configuration the brackets for these things bolt to the exh man) and how the whole thing bolts up, Do you still use studs or do you have to remove all the studs and use bolts instead? Do you still use the butterfly washers etc?

Thanks in advance
