I can certainly understand (and enthusiastically agree with) avoiding Clifford. Depending on how far afield you are willing to go and what your intended purpose is (i.e., what-all is included in your definition of "headers"), you might check out Dutra Duals from California and Escapessilens from Argentina.

What body style are you needing them for?

For the early A bodies Clifford is the only header available. For the '67 and up the choices open up a little.

I am currently working with Aussie Speed on Early A headers. Actually Headers for ALL slant models. Depending on how soon you need them....

They're selling 6 cyl headers for different makes.

So I assume that's just an example.
