Great stuff, D! Kearney 2010 or bust...

I am slowly picking away at Project V again, so hopefully we will both have functioning race/long-term-project cars again soon.

Lou

Hope so Lou.

Just in case, the red car is still in one piece on jackstands in the back of the shop.

It is 7 am and everyone is asleep - after rereading the oil pan scraper thing, I thought I would revisit the tuna.

An Indy car! :D So to speak. Looks like a lot cool fabbin' going on up north.

That Patrick looks like a handy guy to have around - ever loan him out?

Zilla, when ya come down for the Indy swap meet Dadtruck and I will buy ya breakfast or lunch (beer doesn't always go well with breakfast!)

Just bought some forged slugs from MadMax so I thought I would learn myself on Nitrous. Any readin' material you could recommend?

Have a good un, Wayne.

Wayne, Patrick will be with me at the ICH swap. Yes, he does work for anyone. :D

Don't know what time we will be down there, have to plan when it gets closer.

I have been contacted by the original builder of the car on Moparts. I am going to talk to him shortly. :D :D

Got a little more done today. Did some more cutting out under the hood for clearance on the foot box, and got the driver's floor in. Paul Sr. would be proud. We are going to cover the passenger side in diamond plate too. :D

Haven't talked to the original owner yet, but he has relayed that it has always been a Pro/Super Pro car.

Got a little more done today. Patrick got most of the footbox done. :D

Got some more done today. Patrick has some small filler panels to fab and then we start welding it all in. After that it will either come home for plumbing/wiring or go to Jeff Long's shop to get the headers built. Jeff is going to go completely nuts when he sees how much room we left him to route the headers through.

Posted some new pics on the Moparts thread too.

Patrick will be driving it sometimes and he is around 100# lighter than me.

Is Mike workin' on a motor yet, or thinkin' about the Buzzin' motor loan program?

Looking forward to seeing it run.

Lou

We did work on the car yesterday Wayne. Patrick got the seat mounts done, and made a couple bolt in braces to tie the strut mounts to the back of the motor plate mounts.

I have to drop the seat and cover off at my buddy's shop to get the new seat cover made.

When the car is ready I will order the new belts so they are not halfway out of date before the car is done. (Belts are only good for 2 years)

I got the passenger floor cleaned up and cut out some factory brackets so we can put diamond plate on that side too.

Patrick thinks we will be done by the end of the month.

I called my buddy Jeff yesterday and had him order the collectors so he can build the headers in February.

After that it will come home for wiring/plumbing.
