Thanks for the heads-up on that. I double checked the cam card; the intake closing time above was incorrect, it should have been 52, not 47. I reran the numbers with a .100 deck cut to bring the deck clearance to .086 and come up with SCR of 10.2 and DCR of 8.9.

That's installing the cam straight up. If I were to retard it 4* then I would have DCR of 8.6 - I could deck the block .110 and have DCR at 8.87. I'm assuming that retarding the cam would mean adding 4* to the the timing events to bring the intake close to 56* from 52.

*edit* FWIW... the cam card has "111 LC" on it, is that the same as LSA?
