Has anyone used fuel injection from a Dodge 3.9 liter on a slant?
I did a search but did find much info.

No. The 3.9 V6 is not even fire and it's speed density so it's a poor choice for retrofit.

Seriously, there's a decent explanation here, though for some strange reason it talks about only "early" V6 engines being 90° odd-fire types.

Even fire means all the cylinders fire at equal intervals. With the slant and other even fire 4-stroke-cycle sixes it's every 120° of crankshaft rotation.

The crank pins on the 90° 3.9L V6 are only split 22° so there is a bank-to-bank timing difference of 8°. So #1 fires, then #6 fires 112° later, then #5 128° later, blah, blah, blah.

The 60° 3.8L V6 as used in mini vans is even fire. I still would not use much beyond the fuel delivery system and throttle body on a slant. With the low cost of Megasquirt electronics I wouldn't bother with anything as inflexible as a Chrysler ECU.
