Either my search skills are lacking as of late, or the question has not been asked, but here goes:

How many ohms empty/full should the fuel sender in my 84 D100 read? The truck has no gauges, and I'd like to order an aftermarket gauge to hook up so I'll quit running out of gas. I'd slap in a factory gauge cluster if the wires hadn't been hacked with what seems to be pruning shears.

The nearest i can tell is that its 14 ohms at empty but Ive got old wires and poor connections so its probably really 10 ohms. hope this helps
