Old Car Gear Boxes Pty. Ltd. in Moorabbin Vic can probably do what you want.
They can do new gear sets with improved ratios.
I would think it will be quite expensive though.
Their number is 03 95533207
Thanks for the info man, I'll most probably give them a buzz once I'm the full bottle on all this stuff!

BTW Accomotors, do you have any IHC stuff?
Just thought you might going by your forum name.
Sorry man, 'Acco Motors' stems back from years ago when we ran Accos as our trucks. Since sold them and progressed to an Isuzu FSR550 (does anyone want to buy it?).

You got a 3 speed bellhousing... take 1970+ A-230 and bolt in place of A903/A745...etc.. "done"....
Well it's good to know that they are interchangeable externally. I really wanted to keep the original A-903 casing, if they're that similar externally, are they similar enough internally to change all the internals over?

Thanks for all the help guys!

The A230 has completly different inturnals from a A903.
Fact is, the A230 is much closer in design and part content to the Mopar A833 4 speed then it is to the A903 / A745.

Bummer. So it appears the only way around it is to run a complete custom gear set. Better start saving :)

Thanks very much for the info guys, most appreciated!
