Drain it after each race when there is a possibility of freezing but where are you going to find any freezing temps going to Vegas this time of year?.

Unless you run Pro or S/Pro they probably won't check. There will be a lot of street cars on the track with anti-freeze in them anyway.

Most of the tracks, I have run at, don't check. If they do check, I have never heard of them bouncing a car with legal street tags. My Cuda has anti freeze (street tags), My Valiant has water, and anti rust, but I have never been checked.
In your case, I would just drain the radiator and block, into a jug, before leaving home, and then put water in at Vegas.

I now wish I had known about the rule change when building the engine.....would have added a block drain plug.Unless you know a good way to get it out of the block???
Thanks for the advice.
I doubt they will really check the car.....but Vegas techs are pretty thourough. The car is a drag car only.......no tags.My buddy has warned me about fines ,at the local roundy round here, they put the antifreeze rule into affect, and the offenders were charged $200 when the were found out. That would suck.

Your block doesn't have a plug? Should be on the passenger side.

Mine is under the level of the block fill.

It's been in effect in Division 3 for at least 5 years, and probably longer than that.

It's in my 2007 rule book.

Track personal find it harder to absorb, dry up, which makes longer down time. Plane water is much faster cleanup. I like Charlie have never had a coolant check or know if anyone removed because of use. Even with a drag only car they will ask what it will run. When told 14 seconds the only thing they check is the kill switch if you have a battery in the trunk. I think you will be fine. Heck I have never had anyone even check my seat belts.

I have, and that is a sore point with me. I can run a 40 year old OEM belt, but if I upgrade to a racing belt it has to be renewed every two years.

I agree, Like seat belts wear out in 2 years no less. But your helmet is good for 10.

Maplegrove dragway gets really pissy about antifreeze. They threaten to toss you if they catch you running it. Don't dare puck any one the starting line.
