I was always under the impression you don't want high compression with a supercharger as it would create very high combustion pressure.

My opinion, for a street slant with a turbocharger, bring the compression up to about an honest 8.5 to 1, and keep the boost reasonable. That way you will keep some low speed drivability. With a race motor, or most belt driven superchargers, keep the cr low about 8 to 1 and add boost.
With the right combination of parts, it is possible to have a fairly high CR, and a good amount of boost, but that is harder to do.
