My '71 Dart 4-door had the completely separate, non-retractable lap belts and shoulder harnesses up front. There was an anchor point on the "wall" (or "rim") of the floor, directly outboard of where the front seatback met the front seat bottom, for the outer half of the lap belt.

My '73 Dart 4-door has the retractable lap belt with the separate shoulder harness that clips to the lap belt buckle and clips into just the one receptacle. The lap belt retractor is attached to an anchor point on the "wall" ("rim") of the floor, well behind the front seat.

I am getting ready to install new, more modern belts, and I'm wondering if the anchor directly outboard of the front seat back/bottom junction is still present (and just not used) in '73? Or did they delete it?

Yeah, I know I'll probably wind up peeling the carpet and seeing for myself, but I thought I'd ask and see if anyone already knows.
