Is there a lockstrip available that duplicates/approximates the original?

[And, no, the gm type with the rounded top that shows up all over ebay is not the one I'm looking for!]

Would the Dodge Trucks for those years be a source?

TIA

Unless it's somehow different, the lockstrip canbe purchased out of Australia.

The Australian lockstrip has a smooth/rounded contour, like the GM truck stuff. (the one you've linked to is black, not chrome. Echk, do not want.)

You may want to check with a local auto glass shop. I've been able to locate some generic strip that way

hello W L J,
various widths of that lock strip are available in Australia.
I take it that the profile that you want is important?
if you can post a close-up pic of the profile,I will check my local supplier of such stuff, and see how we go.
precise measurements will be helpful too.

regards,Rod :D

This is very generous of you.

I don't have a digital camera, but will see what I can do.
